MAHU is the professional association for insurance agents and carrier representatives who specialize in the delivery of health insurance. Our focus is to improve the health care system here in our state.

We represent our clients, the insureds, and work to make health insurance more affordable and accessible for our state's residents. By educating our elected officials, we strive to avoid unnecessary legislation and the unintended consequences that often follow increased governmental involvement.

MAHU has 530 members across the State of Michigan.  Communicating with a large association includes many challenges.  MAHU placed communication as a top priority.  We have provided continuous web page updates, quarterly newsletters and email blasts to membership, and will continue that effort in 2011.

The MAHU webpage offers our members up to the minute news from federal, state and local sources. 

Our newsletter is sent to over 500 members across the state.  We receive consistent, positive, feedback from our membership.
